Kathy Gerdes is a Licensed Service Assistant with the Wiskus Group and has been an integral part of the team since 2005. She earned her business degree from the University of Iowa and brings more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. Kathy holds a life insurance license and plays a key role in supporting new accounts, licensing, client service, and office management.
Kathy understands the importance of trust in client relationships. She believes individuals and families need knowledgeable professionals who will walk alongside them through every stage of life, helping to ease the pressures that come with important financial and personal decisions. Her goal is for every client to feel supported — especially during challenging times — knowing they have someone beside them who genuinely cares about their wants, needs, and concerns.
Outside the office, Kathy enjoys cheering on Iowa State University football and basketball, gardening, and spending quality time with her family.
